Friday Night Reception
Friday night after “Sitting Bulls Voice”, Passholders, Filmmakers and Reception ticket holders will continue the evening at The Tim Gill Center for an evening of Native American music, food and a book signing by Ernie LaPointe. Ernie will be selling signed copies of his latest book “Sitting Bull: His Life and Legacy” this book is a fascinating oral history in written form about the life of the famous Hunkpapab Lakota chief, Tatanka Iyotake.
Food for this event is provided by NT Sliders, Potato Potato and Bristol Brewing will serve it’s infamous Chief Root Beer. This is a non-alcohol event.
Filmmakers and Passholders Lounge
Saturday the Filmmakers Lounge will be at Kreuser Gallery in the Depot Arts District and opens at 11:00am. Filmmakers and Pass-holders can enjoy Colorado Springs exclusive Purple Mountain Coffee and delightful gluten-free Coquette’s Bistro & Bakery pastries. Judge Baldwins in Palmer Center will be offering happy hour specials starting at 11am. $2 ½ Pint “Micro-Micro Brew” or 3oz House Wine $4 Well Drinks, Wine and Drafts $5 Appetizers and from 5-9:30 pm Popcorn – $2 Candy Bars – $1 Sodas – $2 Hot Dogs – $3
Sunday Filmmakers and Pass-holders can start the day in the Lounge in Dwire Hall at UCCS. A continental breakfast will be served from 10am – 11:30am. Bristol Beer, Sovereignty Wine and catered lite snacks from 12 noon until 4. The Lounge opens at 10:00 am and closes when the awards ceremony starts at 7:00 in Centennial Hall.
Filmmakers and Pass Holders Saturday Night After Party
Join us for Bristol Beer, Wine and La’au’s at Kreuser’s Gallery at the Bridge Gallery to wind down after a day of indie film and discuss the day’s film viewing.
Sunday Evening Awards Party
After the Indie Spirit Awards at Centennial Hall at UCCS, join us for a celebration after the Indie Spirit Film Festival Awards in Dwire Hall Atrium at UCCS. The party starts at 8:30 and we’ll be serving Bristol Beer, Wine and lite snacks This event is open to all festival pass and ticket holders.

Digital Cinema Package Workshop Matt Stevens UCCS Centennial Hall 1:30pm – 2:30pm
Digital Cinema Package(DCP) refers to the conversion of film to digital video. This workshop is aimed at informing filmmakers on how to master the process at little to no cost, and without loss of quality.
As the Manger of Kimball’s Peak Three Theater, which moved to digital projection last year, Matthew has drilled down into the mechanics and internal working of this new exhibition technology.
